Abstract
The British Universities Committee for Contact Lens Education (BUCCLE) is made up of contact lens lecturers from all the dispensing colleges and universities offering formal undergraduate optometry or postgraduate optician level training in contact lens practice in the United Kingdom and Ireland. BUCCLE is sponsored by industry with the aim of promoting good and safe contact lens practice amongst the next generation of contact lens fitters and meets three times a year. BUCCLE is presenting a workshop at this year's BCLA conference and later this year will publish a simplified approach to recording gas permeable contact lens fitting, similar to the one a couple of years ago related to recording the fitting of soft lenses [ [1] Wolffsohn J.S.
