Abstract

A measure of the complexity of the quantum distribution of work outcomes is presented with general upper and lower bounds in terms of well-known thermodynamic and quantum quantities, thus clearly separating the classical and quantum contributions. This measure is shown to possess a strong signature of the localization phase transition in a quasiperiodic crystal.
