Abstract

Effects of magnetic field and Navier slip on the entropy generation in a flow of viscous incompressible electrically conducting fluid between two infinite horizontal parallel porous plates under a constant pressure gradient have been studied. An exact solution of governing equation has been obtained in closed form. The entropy generation number and the Bejan number are also obtained. The influences of the pertinent flow parameters on velocity, temperature, entropy generation and Bejan number are discussed with the aid of graphs.
