Abstract

A large class of phenomena in the field of dissipative structures shows closed analogy of certain steady state changes to phase transitions. These phenomena therefore are called “nonequilibrium phase transitions” [1–7]. In particular, certain chemical reaction models were discussed showing phenomena of this kind of phase transition [6–12].
