Abstract

This study aims to investigate the link between entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial capacity as well as to ratify the mediating role of students' entrepreneurial capacity. Using a qualitative research method, we conducted an online self-administered survey with a sample of 400 undergraduates currently studying at Foreign Trade University (FTU) in Vietnam. Our findings show that entrepreneurship education has a positive impact on students' entrepreneurial intentions. In addition, entrepreneurship education contributes to the enhancement of students' entrepreneurial capacity while students' entrepreneurial capacity contributes to the formation and development of students' entrepreneurial intentions. Following that, our study confirms that students’ entrepreneurial capacity serves as a partial mediator in the relationship between entrepreneurship education and their entrepreneurial intentions.
