Abstract

This study aims to demonstrate the relationship between entrepreneurship and the university, and how the university field can be an effective contributor to the development of entrepreneurial thought. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the various concepts of each element were addressed separately, and aspects of complementarity, influence and interaction between them were indicated. The study concluded the importance of the university field in establishing the idea of entrepreneurship among the student, through three basic determinants: the student, the academic curricula, and the administrative part of the university. The study recommended the need to rely on the applied and practical side in the curricula, in addition to the involvement of the human element represented by the student and the professor, as well as the technical and logistical side in the pioneering path within the university because of its utmost importance The study also recommended relying on the PCF research model to analyze the role of entrepreneurship in the university, which is one of the outputs of this study
