Abstract
Entrepreneurialism in health care has become a significant factor in influencing health and mental health settings which employ and educate social workers. The advantages and disadvantages of for-profit health care enterprises and implications for social work practice and education are presented. Data obtained by a survey of social workers employed in for-profit corporate health institutions give rise to concerns which are discussed as they could effect the profession.
