Entomophthora pyriformis, sp. n., entomophthorale parasite de puceron

Abstract

A new species ofEntomophthora found in France on Aphids is described as new under the nameE, pyriformis. It is distinguished by the following characters: multinucleate, pear-shaped conidia, with large papilla; small resting spores; short, more or less branched hyphal bodies. A key of determination is given for the Aphid parasiteEntomophthora species with more or less spherical conidia.
