Abstract

Dilution enthalpies of glycine in aqueous NaF and NaI solutions of various molalities at 298.15 K have been determined, respectively, by mixing flow microcalorimetry. The results have been analyzed according to the modified McMillan–Mayer model to obtain homogeneous enthalpic interaction coefficients. The effect of the anions on enthalpic pair-wise interaction coefficients has been discussed from the point of view of electrostatic interaction and structural interaction.
