Abstract

Product retail of large chains plays a key role in modern economic conditions. These chains usually have a wide products range, covering everything from food to household goods. The food retail main task is to meet the consumers needs in food and to provide them with the necessary goods for every day. One of the food retail key features of large chains is its scale and geographical distribution. These chains have multiple branches and stores that cover large areas and provide the population of different regions with the necessary goods. This allows consumers to easily make purchases and choose from a wide range [1]. In addition, large grocery chains actively use marketing and promotion strategies to attract customers and increase sales. They offer a variety of promotions, discounts, and bonus programs that encourage customers to choose their stores over their competitors. Even more, grocery retailing of large chains has a significant impact on the goods production and supply. Large purchases volumes allow them to establish favorable cooperation terms with suppliers, as well as to influence the price policy and goods quality [2]. In general, large chains grocery retail plays an important role in providing the population with necessary goods, contributes to economic development and has a significant impact on the goods production and supply.
