Abstract
The application of lean thinking obtains saltant advancements and has turned into a new generation guidance thinking of management revolution since 21st century. However, because lean thinking was born of 'production' and 'manufacturing', people mistake 'lean' as JIT etc chronically, and traditional applications of lean thinking are also limited in 'production', 'manufacturing' and JIT. This article points out the limitations of traditional thinking and advances 'total life cycle lean thinking' throughout the total life cycle of product on this basis. Afterwards, the article applies 'lean thinking' to plant design, that is enterprise planning, and then expatiates on enterprise planning.
