Abstract

A new selective enterosorbent based on natural silk fibroin (NSF) is proposed, which possesses higher detoxicating properties as compared to traditional carbon sorbents (SKN-2K, SKN-4M). This product can solve problems related to the import substitution and the utilization of natural silk industry wastes. The positive action of the new enterosorbent can be increased by using it as a polymeric matrix for drugs. New inclusion complexes of the proposed enterosorbent with deoxypeganine hydrochloride have been obtained and investigated. It is shown that the interaction of fibroin-based enterosorbent with deoxypeganine hydrochloride leads to the formation of hydrogen bonds. A pharmacopoeial documentation package for the new enterosorbent has been prepared.
