Abstract

We investigate the non-classical correlations existing in the mixed bipartite state consisting of the reflected optical 1 mode and the mechanical mode (movable mirror). The covariance matrix is calculated when the state of each mode is initially in a vacuum. We consider the criterion of positivity of the partially transposed state (PPT criterion) to quantify the dynamical evolution of the entanglement between the reflected optical 1 and the movable mirror modes using the smallest symplectic eigenvalue. Then we use Gaussian quantum steering to measure the steerability between the two modes. We also consider the Gaussian interferometric power to quantify the quantum correlations that exist beyond entanglement.
