Abstract
The title compound, C20H30O4, is an ent-isopimarane diterpenoid which was isolated from the roots of Euphorbia wallichii. The molecule contains three six-membered rings, which adopt chair and half-chair conformations. In addition to an intramolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond, an intermolecular O—H...O hydrogen bond connects the molecules into chains.
