Abstract

The species Passiflora alata Curtis is one of the most important within this genus in Brazil , however , has some limitations in terms of productivity and fruit quality , which can be addressed through a program of selection followed by cloning techniques . The objective of this study was to evaluate the adventitious rooting of different native plants of P. alata , in the presence and absence of indole- 3 - butyric acid ( IBA) . The experiment was conducted in a kitchen with intermittent mist , temperature and humidity control system vegetation. The experimental design was completely randomized with four replicates , each using 16 stakes , 15 × 2 factorial arrangement of two factors : genotypes of P. alata ( 15 ) and IBA concentrations ( 0 and 2,000 mg L- 1 ) . With this work , it is concluded that there is no need of auxin for rooting cuttings of Passiflora alata genotypes studied . 11:15 genotypes were superior in all traits . The answer varies rizogenica as the genotype, that there are individuals more responsive than others .
