Abstract

The realization of compatibility between the abiotic and biological components is critically important for building a successful hybrid biological/inorganic system. In this issue of Chem Catalysis , Lu et al. demonstrate a prototype hybrid system along with a unique methodology to enhance the communication between the abiotic and biological components for electrically converting N 2 /CO 2 into value-added chemicals.
