Abstract

Humans are the major cause of environmental degradation. Therefore, the prevention and resolving the problems must depend on the human practices. In addition to a school education to the youth in preparation for life, and the occupation that require natural resources. It is important to create a good conscience, and know how to conserve environment that has been affected by the practice of human. This research was aimed to investigate the achievement of a 6 learning-step procedure that integrated Project Based Learning (PBL), learning to be Literacy, and Professional Leaning Community (PLC) approaches. The rubric scoring was adopted to evaluate projects of their community environment conservation. Furthermore, an incident test was applied to posttest the participants' knowledge and ability in analytical thinking, decision making and awareness towards the environmental conservation. The findings implied the students' abilities in environmental conservation determined through their projects of environmental conservation was evaluated in higher quality criteria at 70% of full marks. Moreover, data of posttest through incident test showed that their mean score were statistically higher than 70% of the total score.
