Abstract

The performances of blue organic light-emitting device based on N-BDAVBi are enhanced by inserting a CuPc electron buffer layer, which improves the injection of electrons. By adjusting the thicknesses of the CuPc electron buffer layer and the MoO3 hole buffer layer, the maximum luminescence, the current efficiency, and the power efficiency of above devices have been approximately enhanced by 113%, 55%, and 88%, respectively, and the reduction in turn-on voltage reaches 38%, comparing with that of the device without the buffer layers.
