Abstract
The Pennsylvania State University Libraries and the National Technical Information Service (NTIS) are collaborating on a project to stimulate technical report use at an academic institution. The Libraries have brought on-line the entire NTISbibliographic database on the University-wide LIAS information system and it is available for searching at all 21 Penn State campuses. This paper reviews the project and the level of database and technical report use that occurred during the initial phase of implementation.
