Abstract

Abstract The ways in which the core questions of Geography schema acted as a route for inquiry and a vehicle for metacognitive practices by senior school students are presented in this paper. The research procedure was ethnographic. The students embraced the questions schema as a path for inquiry and the schema was found to facilitate self‐assessment and research modification.
