Abstract

With the influx of digital India movement, our country is equipped with strong digital infrastructure. In today's scenario, Government provide services to common people at their doorsteps through e-governance. Efficiency of government services can be enhanced through the use of ICT. The delegation of e-governance projects is channelized from central to state level and then to Gram Panchayats. Funds disbursed and the fund utilized for different projects are present in digital format at every level. After deploying the projects, there is a need to analyze the data stored at various levels. The effectiveness of government projects can be analyzed by applying various data mining tools and techniques. Data mining helps to extract hidden patterns from large pool of data. The aim of this research is to analyze the e-Governance data to measure the efficiency of different government schemes. Data mining techniques are used to analyze the data acquired from MNREGA (Mahatma Gandhi National rural employment guarantee act) and SBM (Swachh Bharat Mission) projects. The proposed approach of data mining can be helpful for the government to further analyze other public beneficiary schemes.
