Abstract

Abstract The catalytic activity of Ru–γ–Al2O3 on simultaneous removal of NO and CO in oxidative atmosphere was enhanced by alloying with Sn. The degree of the enhancement was lesser than that observed on Rh–Sn–γ–Al2O3. The weight loss caused by the evaporation of toxic higher oxides of Ru from the catalyst was lowered by alloying with Sn.
