Abstract
Ever growing energy demand in the present world imposes power crisis which continuously increasing the use of renewable Distributed generators (DG) to satisfy the consumer demand. The dynamic stability is a major concern when DGs are integrated in distribution network. Therefore, the study of transient stability in distribution network with renewable distributed generators both in autonomous and grid connected mode has gained more attention. The analysis and improvement of voltage quality is also significant when microgrids are operated in autonomous mode. In this context this paper presents a new approach to analyze the transient stability and voltage quality of microgrid using discrete wavelet transform (DWT) with LLLG fault and also focused on improvement of transient stability and voltage quality of microgrid using synchronous generator (SG) as standby generators. The analysis is carried out in MATLAB/SIMULINK.
