Abstract

The d x 2 - y 2 -wave superconductivity near surface is studied in Hubbard model on the semi-infinite three-dimensional lattice. We consider the effective pairing interaction due to antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations. We obtain eigenvalues by solving Eliashberg equation numerically, and we find an enhancement of the superconducting transition temperature near the surface. The enhancement of transition temperature is explained in terms of both the large density of states and the strong antiferromagnetic spin fluctuations due to the surface state.
