Abstract

A DC micro grid satisfies the stringency of electricity in a pastoral spot. The reason behind this stringency is due to the distance from the power grid. The AC micro grid has high ripple content, and less efficiency. Hence an approach for the design of a DC micro grid to provide supply to the DC loads is proposed here. The DCMG's consists of a Solar PV system, Fuel cell and Battery Energy Storage System. The DC-DC converter is employed for integrating solar pv system and has been utilized for boosting up the voltage. Besides these solar pv system analysis is done and designed. The stability of the system is demonstrated using the Mat lab Simulations.
