Abstract

We fabricated a novel luminescent-compound (Cu- and Mn-doped zinc sulfide)⧸graphene oxide (GO)⧸glycidylmethacrylate-co-methylmethacrylate polymer composite for the electroluminescence (EL) device. We also demonstrated EL enhancement by the addition of GO nanosheets as a comparatively high dielectric additive under alternating-current (AC) electric fields. The ACEL intensity at 576nm increased with several wt% of GO added to the composite. The tendency of EL enhancement corresponded to that of their electric properties like dielectric constants in the related GO⧸polymer composites.
