Abstract

Strontium ferrite (SrFe12O19) nanofibers and 20wt% of P(VDF-HFP)/SrFe12O19 composite films were prepared by electrospinning and solution casting method respectively. The structure and morphology of the SrFe12O19 nanofiber were characterized by X-ray diffraction and Field emission scanning electron microscopy. The result confirmed the formation of SrFe12O19 nanofiber with a diameter of 150nm with hexagonal structure. The structural changes in P(VDF-HFP) from α to β phase, indicates that fiber fillers are well dispersed in polymer matrix. The dielectric constant of the composite film increases from 12 to 39 with an addition of 20 wt% filler content.Strontium ferrite (SrFe12O19) nanofibers and 20wt% of P(VDF-HFP)/SrFe12O19 composite films were prepared by electrospinning and solution casting method respectively.
