Enhancement effect of Biosafety Law implementation on public health safety capability in view of science and technology

Abstract

Biosafety and security is of great significance in the national security strategy due to increasing serious situation of biasafety. The Biosafety Law, passed by the Standing Committee of the National People′s Congress on October 17, 2020, provides a legal guarantee for strengthening biosafety and security capability in China. Based on the reality and from the perspective of science and technology development, the study puts forward some thoughts and suggestions on the implementation of the Biosafety Law to enhance the ability for coping with public health events.
