Abstract

Enhanced sympathetic activity could contribute to adverse outcome in patients with heart failure (HF). Chronic kidney disease (CKD) has been associated with poor prognosis in patients with HF, but relations of autonomic functions between HF and CKD remains unclear in circadian rhythm. We studied whether CKD could alter circadian changes in autonomic function in rats with myocardial infarction (MI).
