Abstract

Cryorolling is introduced to achieve synergetic improvement in the strength and ductility of heterostructured copper/brass laminates. The cryorolled laminates consist of fibrous elongated ultrafine grains, curved interface, and high density of shear bands and deformation twins. After low-temperature annealing, the multistage heterostructure is formed, which contributes to superior mechanical properties.
