Abstract

Background: Enhanced Recovery after Surgery (ERAS) protocols were instituted to optimize perioperative outcomes and have been successfully implemented in adult and pediatric surgical specialties with reduction in length of hospital stay, narcotic use, and improvement in patient satisfaction. In 2020, our institution was the first to publish one year of pilot intra-abdominal gynecologic cases supporting similar successful implementation of ERAS and outcomes in pediatric and adolescent gynecology (PAG).
