Abstract

In recent years, the development of efficient and environmentally friendly materials for energy conversion and storage has gained significant attention. Herein, a novel BiOCuS/SnS composite film was prepared by doctor blade coating for potential applications in photoelectric devices. The structural, morphological, and optical properties of the films were studied systemically. The photocurrent of the BiOCuS/SnS composite film was obtained as 63.53 μA/cm2 at 1 V, which is about 10-fold and 102-fold of that of bare BiOCuS and SnS films, respectively. The enhanced photoelectric response in the BiOCuS/SnS composite film can be attributed to the improved separation and transfer of photogenerated carriers driven by the heterojunction.
