Abstract

In this paper, A novel two-dimensional photocatalyst BiOBr/GO/MOF-5 were successfully synthesized via a facile ultrasonic assisted solvothermal method. Then, the structures, morphologies, optical properties, and photocatalytic performances were investigated in detail. The results showed that BiOBr/GO/MOF-5 ternary photocatalyst system exhibited significantly enhanced photocatalytic performance as compared with pure BiOBr. Moreover, it can be clearly found that the prepared materials all present a good two-dimensional morphology. In this photocatalytic system, the enhanced photoactivity could be attributed to the effective electron–hole separations between various materials, hich facilitated the transfer of the photoinduced carriers. In addition, relative large specific surface area, and appropriate energy band gap have great contribution to the enhancement of photocatalytic performance.
