Abstract
PVP/PEO/Fe2O3 NPs are a new ternary nanocomposite made of Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP), Polyethylene oxide (PEO), and iron oxide nanoparticles. Iron oxide nanoparticles have been fabricated by laser ablation at different laser periods (3, 7, and 10 min) and scattered in a PVP/PEO blend in a single process. Various techniques have been utilized to analyze the produced PVP/PEO/Fe2O3 films. The preparation was tested for dielectric characteristics and electrical conductivity. FT-IR data confirm the interaction in PVP/PEO which, was aided by an increase in amorphousness, as revealed by XRD measurements. As the concentration of Fe2O3 NPs in PVP/PEO rose, the energy gap of produced samples reduced. By increasing Fe2O3 NPs content, the conductivity of PVP/PEO/Fe2O3 NPs films raised. The findings show that PVP/PEO/Fe2O3 NPs films nanocomposites have outstanding optical and electronic properties, suggesting that these composites could be used in a variety of electric optoelectric utilizations.
