Abstract
The structural and field emission properties of CuO nanoribbons decorated with Ag nanoparticles by a wet chemical method were investigated. The results demonstrated a remarkable enhancement of field emission performance of CuO nanoribbons decorated with Ag nanoparticles. The effect of Ag amount on the field emission performance was studied in detail, and excellent field emission properties such as a low turn-on electric field of 2.1V/μm and a high field enhancement factor of 2528 were obtained.
