Abstract
Piezoelectric energy harvesting has recently attracted widespread attention due to its promising development of self-powered applications. However, the low piezoelectric voltage constant and high damping loss limit the implementation of high-performance perovskite ferroelectrics as high-efficiency energy harvesters. Here, the energy harvesting properties of Pb(In1/2Nb1/2)O3-Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3-PbTiO3 ceramics were significantly improved utilizing Mn-doping defect engineering. After doping Mn, the figure of merit of FOMoff-resonance and FOMon-resonance increased by 109.8% and 643.5%, respectively, while the energy transduction efficiency η increased by 18.52%. Our work provides an effective optimization strategy of energy harvesting properties of PT-based perovskite ferroelectrics.
