Abstract
In general, nuclear orientation experiments can only be carried out at temperatures in the milli-Kelvin regime, where the second- and fourth-order Fano statistical tensors are appreciably different from zero. In this paper it is shown that it is possible to enhance the γ-ray anisotropy from oriented nuclei by transforming Zeeman order into higher order coherent multipolar states, with the aid of MQNMR pulse sequences.
