Abstract
In this paper, MXene (Ti2AlC) doped Nb2O5 cathodic coloration materials have been deposited by thermionic vacuum arc thin film deposition technology to obtain the enhanced performance and best stability electrochromic (EC) device. Surface and EC properties have been investigated. They are very interesting. In Particular, nano-sheet-planes and nano-wormholes have been observed. These surface structures have the key importance, because they have changed the intercalation/deintercalation of the ions. Finally, it was found that the nano-sheet-planes and nano-holes should be important for the enhancement properties and long cycle period. Obtained results show that MXene doping is a good choice for the high performance, long life cycle performance and stability. So, MXene will solve many problems and disadvantages in ionic applications such as EC, battery and sensors.
