Abstract

The past few years have brought numerous technological advances with regard to implant planning, including computed tomography-based computer software. These advances have become important tools in allowing clinicians better visualization of the alveolar structures in relation to a desired prosthesis, minimizing the need for augmentation procedures in many instances and simplifying the immediate surgical and restorative procedures. 1 van Steenberghe D.
