Abstract

Tuberculosis remains a prominent cause of social stigma and is predominantly associated with lower socio economic strata and illiteracy. Predominantly male subjects were identified in both RNTCP & Non RNTCP groups with non RNTCP groups comprised mostly of the literate and higher socio economic strata & RNTCP groups of the literate and lower socio economic population .
