Abstract

This research deals with English students’ perception towards the implementation of lesson study at magang III program of Palopo Cokroaminoto University. The research applied qualitative method. The population of this research is the students of English language education study program at Palopo Cokroaminoto University. The total number of population was 180 students. The researcher applied the purposive sampling technique and there are 5 students as sample that has been a teacher model in implementation of lesson study at magang III program. Questionnaire is the instrument of this research and there are 5 questions. Based on the result and discussion, the researcher concludes that the students gave positive perception towards the implementation of lesson study at magang III program of Palopo Cokroaminoto University. It is supported by students’ answer that the students acquire a lot of advantages after joining and implementing lesson study. They can share knowledge and explain material easily in the class and can combine also more creative in using the various strategy and learning media through lesson study.
