Abstract
AbstractThis chapter discusses the impact of immigration on English as a Second Language (ESL) programming. Subsequently, the author presents the status of ESL course offerings in community colleges as reflected in the Center for the Study of Community Colleges' Curriculum Project, reviews existing ESL curriculum course designs, and summarizes the implications for community colleges.
