Abstract

The article discusses the innovation and human collaboration of city dwellers that can solve problems and generate and share ideas globally. One example of collaborating and integrating economies is N. R. Narayana Murthy, the billionaire and founder of Indian software company Infosys, that united U.S. and Indian markets. Other benefits of city living include better health for older people and youth, revolutions or uprisings in cities that lead to more democracy, and the use of online social networks like Facebook to increase human collaboration.
