It has a special importance for people with disabilities who need support to maintain their lives on an equal footing with other people in society. In Turkish Law, there are social assistance and service regulations for individuals with disabilities who cannot benefit from social insurance. Social assistance are provided to provide income security to people in need who do not have enough income to earn a living. Since economic support is not enough for disabled people to participate in public life, adapt to society and become useful, social services have also been deemed necessary. Services such as providing care and rehabilitation services at home or in care centers for people with disabilities who need it, providing basic and vocational education are the main social services offered in terms of bringing these people into society.
