Abstract

[Extract] It has been some time since environmental citizenship has been given a high-profile focus in the context of the wider Australian narrative on environmental management. As a consequence, this book makes a timely contribution, ensuring that this important topic remains in the hearts and minds of those involved in environmental activism at any level, including environmental policy, programmes, industry practice and consumer advocacy. Both editors, Stewart Lockie and Heather Aslin, are well placed to lead the debate given their long history in related research, data collection and policy development.
