Abstract
Pregnancy-related liver diseases are an important cause of maternal and infant morbidity and mortality. The diagnosis should always be a diagnosis of exclusion (viral, autoimmune, or drug-related liver diseases or biliopancreatic diseases). Pregnancy-related liver diseases include hyperemesis gravidarum, intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy, preeclampsia, eclampsia, HELLP syndrome, and acute fatty liver of pregnancy.
