Abstract

The subject of the study is the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth. The main purpose of the study, since 1980’s so many economists which research the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth is to analyzed both theoretically and empirically. First; in tihis study, literature has been examined later the relationship between energy consumption and economic growth empirically has been measured by panel cointegration analysis method. Data of study were obtained from The World Bank Data Bank. Result of analyses, it has been concluded that there has been a cointegtration between energy consumption and economic growth.
