Abstract

At present, China's residential buildings consume a large amount of natural energy, which seriously affects the healthy development of the ecosystem. To improve the building energy efficiency, this paper proposes research on the energy-saving renovation of residential building envelopes based on building information modeling (BIM). BIM technology is used to establish a residential model, and the energy consumption of residential buildings is simulated and analyzed. Combined with the analysis results, the external walls and roofs of residential buildings are retrofitted for energy-saving. Finally, the energy consumption simulation software is used to set up comparative experiments, and the energy consumption of the proposed building energy-saving renovation scheme is compared with that of the conventional scheme. The experimental results show that the energy-saving retrofit scheme of building envelope based on the BIM technology has lower energy consumption and a better energy-saving effect. It is hoped that this study can provide theoretical and practical guidance for the promotion of energy-saving renovation of residential buildings.
