Abstract

Self-producing electricity end-users operate for many years, especially in the Romanian industrial sector. The impact generated by the development of distributed Renewable Energy Source (RES) in recent years on the Energy Performance Indicators (EPIs) and on the Power Quality Indices (PQIs) of the distribution network was evaluated only for large scale projects such as Wind Farms (WF) and large Photovoltaic Power Plants (PPP). The impact generated by different types of RESs on the EPIs, respectively on the main PQIs, without a correlation between the two was already studied. In this paper, the impact of prosumers on the EPIs and the PQIs of an electricity distribution network was analyzed. The technic-economic analysis of a number of proposed EPIAs was realized, with respect to the aforementioned Indicators and Indices, thus optimizing the interdependency between them.
