Abstract

We have developed a dynamic model of a hydroponic greenhouse using the Matlab/Simulink environment. This model allows us to simulate the energy requirements of our system and accurately predict the temperature evolution in real time. To ensure the reliability of our system, we compared the temperature values collected by the DHT11 sensors installed in the greenhouse with those simulated via the Matlab/Simulink platform. The comparison results demonstrated a high level of agreement, confirming the reliability of our model. Finally, we aimed to minimize energy costs by designing a photovoltaic system for our hydroponic greenhouse. This system helps to reduce our reliance on conventional energy sources and offers a sustainable, cost-effective solution. By utilizing the dynamic model and the photovoltaic system, we can optimize our greenhouse operations and achieve better yields with reduced energy consumption.
